I paid an agency fee and still did all the interviewing.
We test ability before you meet anyone. You meet a VA who has already shown they can do the work, not a stack of resumes.
Smart Business Solutions · Proudly based in the Philippines
Office-based virtual assistants, supervised on-site and tested for critical thinking before you meet them. Filipino talent for law firms, busy executives, and growing businesses that need work owned, not chased. The support of an in-house hire, at a fraction of the cost.

Office-based.
Always accountable.
Less friction. More ownership.
You hired support to remove bottlenecks. Not to create more. Here is how our structure addresses the problems you should not have to manage alone.
We test ability before you meet anyone. You meet a VA who has already shown they can do the work, not a stack of resumes.
Your VA works in a PATRIVA office with stable internet, reliable power, and on-site supervision. Leave and emergencies are managed through real employment, not informal arrangements.
We assess real ability before you meet anyone. Our five-part skills assessment puts the most weight on judgment and attention to detail.
We vet for critical thinking and train our team ourselves. Your VA is expected to flag problems, catch errors, and ask useful questions.
We test how candidates handle unclear instructions and client mistakes. Thoughtful questions and responsible decisions matter as much as completing a task.
PATRIVA stays involved through ongoing supervision and support. You work with a team, not a resume-forwarding service.
We handle the training. Every virtual assistant is directly employed by PATRIVA, with every benefit and obligation under Philippine labor law covered by us. If a VA ever leaves, we find a replacement, and your first one comes at no additional placement fee.
Your VA works only on systems you approve, signs a confidentiality agreement, and works in a supervised office where personal devices aren't allowed on the floor.
One partner. Many ways forward.

Why PATRIVA stands out
Why an office-based virtual assistant is different
Good talent needs the right structure. We test ability, train our team, and supervise the work on-site. You get people who think critically and take ownership, not another hiring process to manage.
Our virtual assistants work from a physical PATRIVA office, with stable internet, reliable power, equipped workstations, and real on-site supervision.
Directly employed by PATRIVA, with every benefit and obligation under Philippine labor law covered by us.
We assess judgment, problem-solving, and attention to detail before you meet a virtual assistant. Interview confidence is not enough.
We match ability to your role and handle training ourselves. Your workflows shape the support, not the other way around.
A supervised office, data protocols, and a cybersecurity consultant partner. Specific controls are agreed for your engagement.
Start with the role your team needs most. Discuss additional capacity as your business grows, without rebuilding your hiring and training process from scratch.
Compare the structure, not the promises

Transparent pricing
Virtual assistant pricing
No hidden markups. You pay one hourly rate. As your VA's employer, PATRIVA carries everything behind it: their benefits, payroll, government contributions, workstation, equipment, and supervision.
The PATRIVA Growth Deal
Standard rate
Standard pricing in 2027. All-inclusive.
Applies to agreements signed after March 31, 2027 and after the Growth Deal lock ends, except for the volume tier below.Placement fee
One time. Covers vetting, background checks, training, and workstation setup.
Growing team
From your 5th VA onward.
Your first four VAs keep their applicable Growth Deal or standard rate.Growth Deal rate applies to Service Agreements executed on or before March 31, 2027, and is locked through December 31, 2027. Standard rate of $18/hr applies thereafter and to agreements signed after March 31, 2027. The $12/hr volume tier applies from your 5th VA onward. Rates are per VA, per hour worked. Placement fee applies per VA. U.S. federal holidays that fall on your VA's scheduled workdays are paid days off and are billed at standard daily hours. Emergency leave and other absences are never billed.
In-house vs. PATRIVA
Your PATRIVA VA works your hours, in your systems, following your processes, and joins your team meetings. They work like part of your office. The difference is everything we carry behind them.
First-year estimate in USD. Assumes 2,080 hours per VA (40 hrs/week × 52 weeks). Actual invoices are based on hours worked. VAs 5 onward use $12/hr in both plans.
First-year in-house cost
PATRIVA first-year cost
Growth Deal: $12/hr × 2,080 hrs + $699 placement fee = $25,659
Standard: $18/hr × 2,080 hrs + $699 placement fee = $38,139
Per VA. Standard cost above applies to your first four VAs; VAs 5 onward are $12/hr.1 VA at $12/hr, plus 1 placement fee.
You save in year one
$63,200In year one, a full-time U.S. legal assistant costs about $88,900 once you add government-mandated payroll costs, insurance, paid leave, retirement, recruiting, and equipment. A PATRIVA Legal VA on the Growth Deal costs about $25,700, all in. That's about $63,200 back in your firm.
In-house estimates: U.S. median pay from the Bureau of Labor Statistics Occupational Outlook Handbook (May 2025). Benefit and government-mandated costs use BLS Employer Costs for Employee Compensation for private-industry office and administrative support workers (June 2026), where benefits added about 46% on top of wages. Recruiting cost: SHRM 2025 average nonexecutive cost per hire ($5,475). Equipment and workstation is a PATRIVA estimate. Office rent and software licenses are excluded. Actual costs vary by location and role. PATRIVA clients provide access to their own software and systems. These are modeled estimates, not a BLS total-cost quote or a guaranteed saving.
| What to compare | Hiring in-house | PATRIVA |
|---|---|---|
| Employer costs and liability | All yours: salary, payroll taxes, insurance, paid leave, and employment claims | None. PATRIVA is the employer and shoulders every obligation under Philippine labor law |
| Recruiting, interviewing, background checks | Your time, your cost | Done by us before you meet anyone |
| Desk, computer, internet, power | You provide | Provided in our supervised office |

| If they quit | Start the hiring process over | We find a replacement. First one at no additional placement fee |
| Commitment | Employment obligations | One-week trial, then 14 days' written notice |
| What stays with you | Your systems, your workflows, your priorities | Same. Your VA works in your systems, your hours, and your processes |
Same seat at your table. A fraction of the cost.
Compare what you actually get
Some full-service VA providers list $2,500 or more a month for full-time support. Price alone does not tell you who handles the vetting, employment, or supervision. If an agency forwards resumes and leaves the interviewing to you, compare that model with what PATRIVA handles.
| What to compare | A resume-forwarding agency model | PATRIVA |
|---|---|---|
| What you receive | A stack of resumes to sort through | A VA who has already passed our skills assessment |
| Who does the interviewing | Usually you | We do, then you meet the right fit |
| Testing | Often a resume and an interview | Formal background checks plus a five-part skills assessment weighted toward judgment and detail |
| Employment | Often independent contractors | Directly employed by PATRIVA, with every benefit and obligation under Philippine labor law covered by us. |
| Where they work | Usually their home | Supervised PATRIVA office with stable internet and reliable power |
| After placement | Often a handoff | Ongoing supervision, training, and a direct line to our founder |
| When your VA is out | Check the provider's policy | Immediate notice, and absent hours are never billed |
| Full-time monthly cost | $2,500+ at some full-service providers; scope varies | About $2,080 with the Growth Deal, plus the one-time placement fee |
Less than some agencies charge. Far more than a stack of resumes.
Agency comparison describes a resume-forwarding model, not every agency or every $2,500 plan. Full-time prices of $2,500 or more were found in publicly listed provider pricing as of October 2026. Practices and prices vary by provider. PATRIVA monthly estimate is based on $12/hr × 40 hours/week × 52 weeks ÷ 12, excluding the one-time $699 placement fee. Some providers also include vetting, training, and ongoing support.

Clear answers before you commit
Clear policies. Public pricing. Here is what working with PATRIVA looks like.
What makes an office-based virtual assistant different?See pricing and cost breakdownAn office-based virtual assistant works remotely for your business but from a physical, supervised office, not from home. At PATRIVA, that means a dedicated workstation, stable internet, reliable power, on-site supervision, and direct employment under Philippine labor law. You get the flexibility of a virtual assistant with the reliability of an in-house team member.
Your VA is a PATRIVA employee working in our Philippine office. We handle vetting, training, and on-site supervision. You gain a support structure, not just an individual working independently.
We test real ability before you meet a candidate. Our assessment emphasizes judgment and attention to detail. We also train our team ourselves and stay involved after matching.
They work from a physical PATRIVA office in Cabanatuan City, Nueva Ecija, Philippines, with stable internet, reliable power, equipped workstations, and on-site supervision.
Employees. Every PATRIVA VA is directly employed by PATRIVA under Philippine labor law, not engaged as a freelancer or contractor. That means PATRIVA shoulders all of their benefits, payroll, and government-mandated contributions, and you carry none of the employer liability.
Every VA is interviewed, vetted, and assessed in five areas: typing, reasoning, attention to detail, judgment and problem-solving, and a realistic work sample. Judgment and detail carry the most weight. Formal background checks include employment references and police clearances.
Absolutely. Filipino talent brings initiative, insight, and professional skill. We assess each person's ability to think critically, question unclear instructions, catch errors, and take ownership. We match demonstrated ability to the work you need done.
We let you know immediately if your VA can't report to work, and you're never billed for hours your VA doesn't work. For clients with more than five PATRIVA VAs, our supervisors step in on urgent tasks until your VA is back.
Your VA works only on systems you approve and signs a confidentiality agreement before starting. Personal devices are not allowed on our office floor, and work happens in a supervised, controlled environment. For law firms, we also complete any confidentiality training your firm requires. Our Cybersecurity Consultant Partner, John Kim Luna, can help review your requirements.
Yours. Our VAs work your business hours in your time zone, whether that's Eastern, Pacific, or anywhere else. We build the shift around your team, not the other way around.
Yes. Every engagement starts with a one-week trial. If it isn't right, you can end it for any reason or ask us for a replacement.
Tell us. If your VA resigns or isn't the right fit, we find you a replacement, usually within two to three weeks. Your first replacement comes at no additional placement fee. Later replacements cost $199 each.
No. After the trial, either side can end the engagement with 14 days' written notice.
Your VA clocks in and out daily, including breaks. We can use your own time-tracking tool, such as Hubstaff, or ours, and share reports on request.
You do. Work created for you, including process documentation and SOPs, belongs to you once paid. Your VA also helps document your workflows as they learn them.
Tell us in writing and we'll act on it, with coaching, training, workflow clarification, or a replacement. Escalations go straight to our founder, Patricia Luna.
Our standard rate is $18/hr, all-inclusive. Through our Growth Deal, sign your Service Agreement by March 31, 2027 and pay $12/hr, locked in through December 31, 2027. There's a one-time placement fee of $699 per VA, which covers vetting, background checks, training, and workstation setup. From your 5th VA onward, the rate is $12/hr. Your first four VAs keep their applicable rate.
It's our offer for businesses ready to grow in 2027. Sign your Service Agreement by March 31, 2027 and your VA's rate is $12/hr instead of $18/hr, locked in through the end of 2027. That's about $1,040 a month saved per full-time VA, based on 40 hours/week averaged across a year.
No. You pay one hourly rate. As the employer, PATRIVA covers your VA's benefits, payroll, and government contributions, plus their workstation, equipment, internet, power, and supervision. The only other charges are the one-time $699 placement fee, and a $199 fee for replacements after your first one, which is free.
No. You only pay for hours worked. Emergency leave, and any downtime caused by issues on our side, is never billed to you.
In our modeled first-year comparison, a full-time U.S. legal assistant costs about $88,900 once you add government-mandated payroll costs, health insurance, paid leave, retirement, recruiting, and equipment. A PATRIVA Legal VA costs about $25,700 in year one on the Growth Deal, or about $38,100 at our standard rate, including the placement fee and assuming 2,080 hours. You keep the same control: your VA works in your systems, on your hours, following your processes. Actual costs vary. See Pricing for the full breakdown and sources.
Because our model is built for efficiency, not markups. We run our own office, employ our own team, and do the vetting and training ourselves, instead of paying for layers between you and your VA. You get the structure of a full in-house hire without the overhead.
